Griffith has made a name for itself as one of the top Fashion Design colleges in Ireland, with student work being shown nationally and internationally, our design students have gone on to work for well-known design firms in Ireland, the UK and farther abroad.

The BA (Hons) in Fashion Design is a three year programme encompassing internships with famous fashion designers such as Louis Copeland, Amanda Pratt and Anna Sui. Modules taught on this exciting programme include: History of Fashion, Fashion Marketing, Computer Aided Design, and Pattern cutting. Students are encouraged to participate in numerous fashion shows throughout the year such as the Triumph Inspirational Awards, as well as the infamous annual Griffith College creative show which takes place at the end of the year. Lecturers on the programme have years’ of industry experience in the various facets of the fashion industry.
Students also have the opportunity to study in our partner university, Naba, in Milan after they have completed their third year.
Graduates typically find employment as In-house Fashion Designers, Own labels, Fashion Stylists, Fashion Buyers, Fashion Journalists and Fashion Show producers.
Prospective students looking to do the course are also encouraged to apply for a scholarship for free tuition.
